Painted Cabinet Transformation
Perfect for creating that fresh, modern look or achieving a specific colour scheme that matches your brand, our painted cabinet service is comprehensive and built to last in busy commercial environments.
What we do:
- Complete preparation: We start with a thorough sand down to remove every blemish and mark, ensuring a perfect foundation
- Deep clean: All drawers are removed and every part of the cabinet gets the full treatment – carcass, drawers, the lot. We use a proper oil and vinegar solution to get them spotless
- Quality primer and undercoat: We seal everything with furniture-quality primer, then apply 1-2 coats of undercoat (depending on what your cabinet needs)
- Premium paint application: Once you’ve chosen your colours, we use only the finest mineral furniture paints from trusted brands like Annie Sloan, Frenchic, Vintage with Grace, Valspar, and Fusion
- Hardware restoration: Cabinet doors come off for the full works, and we can either fit new handles to your taste or restore the originals. Metal handles get the silver or gold gilding wax treatment to bring out those lovely details, whilst wooden handles can be painted or stripped back and re-varnished
- Complete hardware refresh: All hinges and fittings get restored using metallic paints (gold, silver, black – you name it) or whatever suits your vision
- Professional finishing: Two coats of hard-wearing varnish (matt, satin, or gloss) or wax for that perfect final touch
- Proper curing time: We let everything cure for up to 36 hours because rushing quality work just isn’t our style

Varnished & Waxed Cabinet Restoration
For that authentic, natural wood look that screams quality and craftsmanship – perfect for traditional pubs and rustic dining spaces.
Our process:
- Selective stripping: We strip down exactly what you need – could be the entire cabinet, just the top, or perhaps the top, drawers, and doors. It’s your call
- Professional stripping methods: We use either high-quality stripper brands or proper sanding machines (with hand sanding for those tricky spots)
- Thorough cleaning: Once stripped, everything gets a white spirit clean to remove every speck of dust and dirt
- Quality finishing: 2-3 coats of suitable varnish, oil, or wax applied with 12 hours between coats (we’re not rushing this)
- Perfect wax finish: If we’re using wax, any excess gets removed immediately, and after the final coat and 45-minute drying time, everything gets buffed to that gorgeous, shiny original finish
