*** SOLD SOLD*** Vintage “Flying Stork” Travel Trunk

An early 20th century “flying stork”wooden bound hessian domed steamer trunk, with leather edgings and also with fully working locking mechanism and original key. Original leather straps and buckles are there but only one is
complete and working. Has initials M.E.T on both ends and both original leather handles are intact. Has a British Railways delivered luggage label, setting off from Cambridge to what looks like Athens on the label, although it is difficult to make out. You can only imagine the miles travelled and the places seen during its long and active life.
